Jerrod Walker, P.T., Center Manager
Jerrod is a 1999 graduate from the University of South Alabama with a doctorate of physical therapy. He has experience working primarily in outpatient orthopedics with an emphasis on post-operative care and has acute care orthopedic experience. Jerrod also has experience in hand therapy, custom splint fabrication, bracing and dry needling. He is married and has two daughters. He is a longtime Jasper resident and member of Jasper's First Baptist Church. He enjoys traveling with his wife and daughters, running, hiking and other outdoor activities.
Amy Sanders, P.T., Assistant Center Manager
Amy was born and raised in Jasper, AL. She earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2001 from Auburn University and master's degree in physical therapy in 2003 from UAB. She enjoys the family environment at the center and wants patients to feel at home when they come in for therapy. Amy is married to Jacob and has two children, Colton and Sam. In her free time, she enjoys Auburn football, watching her kids play sports and singing on the praise team at her church.
Christy Evans, P.T., DPT
Christy is a graduate of the University of West Alabama where she earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training and then attended University of Alabama at Birmingham for her doctorate of physical therapy. She has 15 years experience in physical therapy working with individuals of all ages with a special interest in geriatrics and total joint replacement. She grew up in Jasper and is married to Greg Evans and has a step daughter. In her free time, Christy enjoys hiking and jeep riding.
Phillip Davenport, PTA
Phillip is a graduate of Wallace State Community College where he earned an associate in applied science in 1993. He has 30 years experience in outpatient orthopedics and has a special interest in post-operative knee and shoulder rehab. He is also a SEC football official. He grew up in Jasper and is married to Wendy Davenport and they have 3 sons. In his free time, Phillip enjoys fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Tanner Rowe, PTA
Tanner is a graduate of Wallace State Community College where he earned an associate in applied science in 2021. He has experience treating in outpatient orthopedic setting and has a special interest in orthopedics, sports and Parkinson's rehabilitation. In this free time, Tanner enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports and fitness.
Chris Knighton , PTA
Chris graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1986. She has experience in acute care, home health and skilled nursing care in addition to the outpatient setting and has a special interest in geriatrics. In her free time, Chris enjoys spending time with family, working on home projects and working with her church family at Cordova's First Baptist Church on various mission projects. She is married and has 2 adult sons and a new granddaughter.
